These two pics just make me feel like I'll have a lot of painting to do!
But, by far, the best part is that the house has a pool. In the realtor's description it says Don't want a pool? They're not expensive to fill. I'm not kidding. Let me go grab a shovel.

I'll hopefully be back to regular blogging soon. Our water heater broke and we had to replace it. I've been sick. Not the best excuses, but that's all I've got ;)
Ya know, I think murals can be awesome for kids rooms, but they sure make a house a bit more difficult to market...
ReplyDeleteAnd LOL about the pool - it must be a real beauty. Actually, I have friends here that filled in a pool in their backyard because they didn't want all the maintenance, etc., but still, seems like a weird thing to mention in a listing!
Um, wow. Who thought it was a good idea to do those murals??? Did they think they were never going to sell the house? I suppose there's a chance you might run into someone who would appreciate that, but it kind of reminds me of a restaurant. You'd think they would paint over those murals before they try to sell the place!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I sometimes wonder what agents are thinking when they write listings. First of all, I DO think it is expensive to fill a pool and take out all the wiring and plumbing stuff. Second, um, I think most potential home buyers know that if you like a house but don't like the pool, you can fill it in. Sigh!
I agree what was said about the Mural. It's really hard to market unless you are into that.
ReplyDeleteMy friends filled up their pool when they bought their house. I think it cost them a couple thousand dollars. After filling with dirt they concreted it out.
