Bubbles.

Isn't it funny how something as simple as dish soap and water can keep a toddler entertained for hours? Okay, honestly, I buy my bubbles although I'm sure they're easy as pie to make.

We got this totally awesome bubble machine at Target. For the second time. The first time around either I put too much solution in or Beanie carried it around (un-level-ly...and, yes, I know that's not a word!) and the bubble solution killed the motor. This thing blows out more bubbles than you can imagine. It is so cool! Beanie loves chasing the bubbles all around the yard. I have been trying to make sure that she only plays with the bubbles, not the machine, so (hopefully) we can alleviate the chance for dead bubble machines again. She was super bummed last time!

I'll try to get some pics later and add to the post. I was going to take some this morning, but my camera battery crapped out so I had to charge it :(

  1. We got a similar machine at CVS, and Alex LOVES it, but we have the same problem with him wanting to play too much with the machine. That, and he plays with it so much that I constantly have to replace the 1800 batteries, or else tell him it's "broken." :-)

  2. Ahh, thanks for filling me in on the battery issue Kristin! We already go through so many batteries in this house, I don't need something else to mess with.

I was going to say that I would look into buying one, but I'm glad I know about it now!

  3. Yes, admittedly it does take a boat load of batteries. We probably didn't have the first one long enough to worry about having to replace them, so we'll see how long they last for this go round...
